2021 State of Kansas (SOK) Employee Health Plans
<p>The SOK employee group will be renewing their health plans with Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Kansas (BCBSKS) for 2021.</p>
<p>Full benefit descriptions, as well as other information for SOK employees are available on the <a href="/members/state">BCBSKS SOK</a> webpage.</p>
<p>There will be no changes to Medicare Plans offered (Plans C, G, N and Select Plans C and G).</p>
<p>For all non-Medicare plans (Plans A, C, J, N and Q) the following changes will occur beginning January 1, 2021:</p>
<ul>
<li>All telehealth services provided by non-network providers will be subject to non-network benefits. These services will no longer deny “non-covered”.</li>
<li>All network providers billing for telehealth services will be reimbursed at the same level (example- reduced copayment of $10.00 for Plan A members).</li>
<li>Benefits for telehealth are no longer specific to using Amwell.</li>
<li>The University of Kansas Health Systems will be added as a preferred lab vendor.</li>
